Ajax confirm new manager

Dutch club Ajax have officially announced the appointment of Oscar Garcia as the team’s new head coach.

According to the club’s official statement, Garcia had previously been working with the club’s youth team.

Deal runs until 2027

The 52-year-old Spanish coach has signed a contract that will run until June 2027.

During his coaching career, Garcia has managed clubs including Maccabi Tel Aviv, Watford, Salzburg, Saint-Etienne, Olympiacos, Celta Vigo and Reims.
