Newcastle have signed Southampton goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale.

The club's press service announced the signing.

The 27-year-old goalkeeper will join his new team on a season-long loan deal with an option to buy.

Ramsdale joined Southampton from Arsenal last summer.
