Bosnia and Herzegovina will meet Qatar in the final round of Group B matches at the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Seattle.
With both nations sitting on one point after two games, victory is likely to be essential if either side wants to remain in contention for a place in the knockout rounds.
Sergej Barbarez's side earned their place at the World Cup through dramatic playoff victories over Wales and Italy.
Bosnia opened the tournament with a 1-1 draw against Canada before suffering a heavy 4-1 defeat to Switzerland in their second match.
The loss ended a nine-match unbeaten run that stretched back to September 2025.
Tarik Muharemovic will miss the match through suspension following his red card against Switzerland.
However, Bosnia still possess enough quality to control large portions of this contest.
Qatar's hopes of reaching the knockout stage remain alive, but only just.
After earning a respectable 1-1 draw against Switzerland, Julen Lopetegui's side collapsed to a 6-0 defeat against Canada.
The result was made worse by the dismissals of Homam Al Amin and Assim Omer Madibo, both of whom are suspended.
Qatar have scored one goal or fewer in each of their last eight matches and have never won a World Cup match in their history.
Bosnia and Herzegovina appear to have the stronger squad, greater international experience and more attacking quality.
Qatar's recent defensive struggles, combined with important suspensions, leave them vulnerable against a side that understands the importance of this fixture.
While Bosnia are favourites to secure the victory, neither team has shown consistent attacking production, suggesting goals may be limited.
Prediction: Bosnia and Herzegovina to Win & Under 3.5 Total Goals.
