Brighton & Hove Albion enter Wednesday’s Premier League clash with renewed confidence after two consecutive league victories.
The Seagulls secured a 2–0 win against Brentford before beating Nottingham Forest 2–1 last weekend.
However, Fabian Hurzeler’s side had struggled previously, losing four of their previous five matches and winning only two of fifteen games since late November.
Brighton have been difficult to beat at home. They have lost only two of fourteen EPL matches at the AMEX this season, although six ended in draws.
Injury concerns:
Adam Webster out
Stefanos Tzimas out
Yasin Ayari doubtful
Arsenal travel to the AMEX in high spirits after a 2–1 victory over Chelsea.
Goals from defenders William Saliba and Jurrien Timber secured the win.
With nine matches remaining, Arsenal remain top of the Premier League, five points clear of Manchester City.
Since a 3–2 defeat to Manchester United in January, Arsenal have recorded seven wins and two draws in nine matches.
Declan Rice could miss the match
Mikel Merino ruled out
Martin Odegaard, Ben White and Max Dowman doubtful
Arsenal have had the upper hand in recent meetings.
Arsenal won 4 of the last 6 matches
Brighton failed to beat Arsenal in their last 5 home games at the AMEX (3 losses, 2 draws)
Arsenal are currently in strong form and should have enough quality to continue their winning run.
Prediction: Arsenal win (70%)
Correct score: Brighton 0 - Arsenal 2 (30%)
