The nominees for the UEFA Champions League Player of the Week have been announced following the Round of 16 first-leg matches.

Strong performances in the first leg
PSG winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia scored twice and provided an assist against Chelsea.
Real Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde scored a hat-trick against Manchester City.
Atletico striker Julian Alvarez scored two goals and added an assist against Tottenham.
Bayern Munich player Michael Olise also scored a brace against Atalanta.
