Early Goals Decided the Match

Zira FK lost 0–2 to Turan Tovuz in the 21st round of the Misli Premier League.

New signing Eren Aydin admitted that conceding early goals played a key role in the defeat.

“We went onto the pitch to win. Early goals made it difficult. We improved in the second half but couldn’t finish our chances,” he said.

Transfer Completed in One Day

Aydin revealed that his move to Zira was finalized within a single day and that he signed until the end of the season.

He expressed happiness at joining the Azerbaijani club and promised to give his best.

War Forced Him to Leave Veres

The player confirmed that the war was the main reason behind his departure from NK Veres Rivne.

“There was serious danger to my life. Frequent power cuts made life difficult. I asked to leave, but the club initially blocked my transfer. I had offers from Portugal and Turkey, but eventually most transfer windows were closed. Zira believed in me and gave me this opportunity,” he explained.

Future Still Open

Aydin stated that everything is possible after his short-term contract expires, including staying in Azerbaijan or moving elsewhere.

He also mentioned knowing Azerbaijani player Vusal Isgandarli and being aware of Turkish players who previously played in the country.
