Newcastle are in talks to sign long-term target Jacob Ramsey from Aston Villa.

Villa are looking to sell a player to help with their Financial Fair Play (FFP) situation. As an academy graduate, selling Ramsey would count as pure profit.

The club has also been trying to offer Ramsey a new deal.
