Laporta’s criticism of Font

Barcelona presidential candidate Joan Laporta has delivered strong criticism towards rival Victor Font.

Laporta suggested that putting the club in the hands of a technocrat like Font could harm Barcelona’s future.

Warning about the club’s future

Laporta stated:

“Giving Barcelona to a technocrat who hides behind computers and Excel will destroy us. It would lead to the collapse of the club.”

He also claimed that former president Josep Bartomeu supports Victor Font.

Election scheduled for March 15

Barcelona’s presidential election will take place on March 15.

Joan Laporta is currently serving as the club’s president.
