Laporta wins election comfortably

Barcelona have held their presidential election.

Former president Joan Laporta and Victor Font competed for the position.

Laporta secured a clear victory and has been re-elected as the club’s president.

Voting results

Joan Laporta – 68.18%
Victor Font – 29.78%

Laporta will now lead the Catalan club for another five years.

Previous presidency periods

Laporta previously served as Barcelona president between 2003–2010 and 2021–2026.
