Juventus are targeting a move for Bayern Munich defender Raphael Guerreiro (31), according to a report from Sacha Tavolieri. 

Juventus are in the market for defensive reinforcements this January. The Serie A side are drawing up a shortlist of potential targets, a shortlist on which France-born defender Guerreiro features. 

Defender’s Bayern Munich contract up at the end of the season

The Portugal international joined Bayern Munich from Borussia Dortmund on a free transfer back in the summer of 2023. He has gone on to make 73 appearances for the Bavarian club, including 11 this season. However, in the Bundesliga in particular, he is playing a bit-part role, often coming off the bench.

Tavolieri understands that a departure during the upcoming January transfer window is a possibility for Guerreiro. The defender’s contract expires at the end of the current campaign, but in January, he could leave the club on a loan deal.
