Lionel Messi met the President of the United States Donald Trump during a special event at the White House.

According to reports, players from Inter Miami CF attended an official reception ceremony held at the White House.

Messi entered the hall together with Donald Trump and they were welcomed by the rest of the Inter Miami squad.

During the meeting, the US president asked the players an interesting question:

“Who is better — Pelé or Messi?”

It should be noted that Messi won the MLS Cup with Inter Miami in 2025, while the club also finished as the MLS Eastern Conference champion.

The Argentine forward has been playing for Inter Miami since 2023.
