Barcelona interested in Luis Benedetti

Palmeiras’ young defender Luis Benedetti could continue his career in Spain’s La Liga.

According to Sportal.az, Barcelona are keen to sign the 19-year-old Brazilian. Reports from Brazil suggest that the Catalan club is ready to pay €10 million in compensation for the centre-back.

Premier League side Arsenal are also monitoring the player.

It should be noted that Benedetti has made 18 official appearances for Palmeiras this season, scoring 2 goals. His contract with the club runs until the end of 2029.
