Arsenal midfielder Max Dowman has made Premier League history.
According to BBC, the 16-year-old scored in the match against Everton, helping Arsenal secure a 2–0 victory.
Dowman scored at the age of 16 years and 73 days, becoming the youngest player to score in Premier League history.
He broke the record previously held by former Everton striker James Vaughan, who scored in 2005 at the age of 16 years and 270 days.
Max Dowman has been part of Arsenal’s academy since 2015.
He made his senior debut last year and is also a member of the England U-19 national team.
