Qarabag striker set for American challenge

Qarabag forward Nariman Akhundzade is set to continue his career in Major League Soccer.

Negotiations with a US-based club have already been completed. While the destination has not been officially confirmed, Orlando City are believed to be the most likely option.

Qarabag are also expected to benefit financially from the transfer. Akhundzade has been under contract with the Azerbaijani club since 2016, having come through the ranks of Khazar Lankaran.
