Panathinaikos Sign Moussa Sissoko from Watford

Former France international joins Greek side

Greek Super League club Panathinaikos have completed the signing of former France international Moussa Sissoko from Watford. The 36-year-old midfielder joins for an undisclosed fee.

Second spell at Watford ends

Sissoko returned to Watford in the summer of 2024 for a second spell and made 61 appearances during that period. He initially joined the Hornets from Tottenham Hotspur in 2021 but left following their relegation from the Premier League.

Across both spells, Sissoko featured 99 times for Watford. His previous clubs include Newcastle United, Toulouse, and Nantes
