Guardiola set to leave Manchester City?

BBC claims uncertainty over manager’s future

Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola could be set to leave the club this summer, according to a report by the BBC.

The source states that uncertainty surrounds Guardiola’s future at the Etihad, with a final decision expected closer to the end of the season. Even if he stays, extending his contract beyond 2027 is considered unlikely.

City currently sit second in the Premier League with 47 points from 24 matches. They have also reached the Champions League round of 16, the League Cup final, and the FA Cup last 32.

Guardiola, 55, has been in charge since 2016, winning six Premier League titles, two FA Cups, four League Cups and three Community Shields. In 2023, City completed a historic treble by winning the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, and Club World Cup.
