Kuaku dropped as Borges returns to Champions League list

Azerbaijan champions Qarabag have made changes to their squad list ahead of their UEFA Champions League play-off tie against Newcastle United.

According to the club’s press service, Kris Kuaku has been removed from the registered squad and replaced by Kadi Borges.

Meanwhile, Qarabag’s new signing Jeremy Gnali has not been included in the squad.

Borges had previously been dropped from the list in November due to injury.

The first leg between Qarabag and Newcastle will be played in Baku on February 18 at 21:45, with the return leg scheduled for February 24 at 21:00 CET (00:00 Baku time on February 25).
