Danish striker Rasmus Højlund admitted he had “no choice” but to leave Manchester United in the transfer window.

He has joined Napoli on a season-long loan with an option to buy.

Since arriving from Atalanta in August 2023, Højlund made 95 appearances for United, scoring 26 goals.

He won the Emirates FA Cup in 2023/24, coming off the bench in the final against Manchester City.
