Mbappe doubtful ahead of Real Sociedad clash

Real Madrid are facing fresh concerns ahead of their upcoming La Liga fixture.

According to the club, defender Raul Asensio and forward Kylian Mbappe did not take part in today’s training session. Asensio has shown flu symptoms and was withdrawn from group training.

Mbappe, meanwhile, has missed collective sessions for a second consecutive day and trained individually indoors. The French star is now considered doubtful for the next match.

Managed by Alvaro Arbeloa, Real Madrid currently sit second in La Liga, just one point behind leaders Barcelona.

Los Blancos will host Real Sociedad on February 14.
