Top transfer insider Fabrizio Romano has clarified the situation surrounding Cristiano Ronaldo’s absence from Al-Nassr matches and speculation about his future.
According to Romano, the issue is not related to Ronaldo’s relationship with Al-Nassr. The Portuguese star remains on excellent terms with the coach, teammates, fans and club management.
The real concern lies with PIF, the fund controlling several Saudi Pro League clubs. Ronaldo is reportedly unhappy with how investments, budgets and overall league strategy are managed at a higher level.
Romano stressed that this does not mean Ronaldo is breaking ties with Al-Nassr, but rather expressing dissatisfaction with the league’s top-level governance.
Ronaldo has already missed two league matches, and reports suggest he could boycott a third game.
