UEFA disciplinary decision

UEFA have sanctioned Galatasaray.

The club will not be allowed to bring supporters to their next away match.

Reason for the punishment

The sanction follows fan incidents during the Champions League playoff match against Juventus.

Financial penalty

UEFA also imposed a €40,000 fine.

Liverpool match affected

As a result, Galatasaray supporters will not be present for the Round of 16 second leg against Liverpool at Anfield.
