Chelsea have suffered a major setback in their squad.

One of the team’s key players, Cole Palmer, has been ruled out through injury, head coach Enzo Maresca confirmed.

The attacking midfielder from England will be sidelined for 2–3 weeks.

Chelsea signed Palmer from Manchester City in the summer of 2023. The 23-year-old England international has impressed this season with 5 goals and 2 assists in 10 official appearances for the Blues.

It should be noted that Chelsea are in the same UEFA Champions League group stage as Qarabağ. The two teams will meet in London on October 1.
