AC Milan is delighted to announce the permanent signing of Koni De Winter from Genoa CFC. The Belgian defender has signed a contract with the Club until 30 June 2030.
Born in Antwerp, Belgium, on 12 June 2002, Koni De Winter began his youth career at Lierse before moving to Zulte Waregem. In 2018, he joined Juventus, playing for their youth sides and U23 team. He made his first-team debut on 23 November in a UEFA Champions League match against Chelsea.
After a loan spell with Empoli, De Winter made a permanent switch to Genoa, where he made 57 appearances and scored three goals over two seasons.
In March 2024, he received his first call-up to the Belgium national team and made his debut against the Republic of Ireland.
