Ballon d'Or 2025: Luis de la Fuente names Lamine Yamal and four other Spanish players as favourites.

Spain head coach Luis de la Fuente said that five Spanish players could win the Ballon d'Or this season, including 18-year-old Barcelona prodigy Lamine Yamal.

Yamal scored around 18 goals and provided 25 assists last season as Hansi Flick’s Barcelona won La Liga, the Copa del Rey, and the Spanish Supercopa – placing the teenager among the leading contenders for the prestigious award.
