According to Sportal.az, the Spanish player started in the Premier League match against Brentford (1–0) but was forced off in the 19th minute after picking up an injury while contesting the ball in midfield. He sat down on the pitch, signaling that he couldn’t continue.

Nico González came on to replace him.
It’s worth noting that Rodri had previously torn his cruciate ligament last season and missed most of the campaign.
