A surprise transfer has taken place at Qarabag.

The Azerbaijani champions have reached an agreement with Ramil Sheydayev. The striker, who parted ways with Neftchi by mutual consent, has returned to the club after a two-year break.

The 29-year-old forward previously played for Qarabag in the 2017-18 and 2021-23 seasons.

Throughout his career, Sheydayev has also represented Zenit (Russia), Trabzonspor (Turkey), Zilina (Slovakia), Krylia Sovetov (Russia), Dynamo Moscow (Russia), and Buriram United (Thailand).
